She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Hugh Smith, her daughter Gayle, son-in-law Pete, her adored granddaughters Monica Vaughan and Heather Lee (Jacob), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will long be remembered as a strong, loving, guiding force of life.
Her parents and grandparents were local farmers who helped to settle this area.
